Even from the first basic prototype, which was painstakingly built by hand, users of the Lace Link® have found it to be both functional for BOOTS, SHOES, & APPAREL – basically anything with 2 cords. The Lace Link® has evolved in both its aesthetics (how wide the flaps, holes, and diamonds are) and genetic material over the years, but its principal parameters still hold true.

Doug is most proud of the ease and expansive applicability of the Lace Link®. Basically, anything with 2 cords whether it be shoes, sweatpants, duffle bags, anything with webbing adjustable parts can be replaced by the Lace Link®.

Doug remarks: “When I first show people just the Lace Link® part itself, people are somewhat curious but unimpressed that this small piece can work wonders on a shoe.
